The Homeland Security Industries Association (HSIA) is a non-profit corporation established in August, 2002. Our mission is to provide a mechanism for government and the private sector to coordinate on a wide range of homeland security issues. The four principal goals of HSIA are:
- Monitoring and analyzing of legislation, regulation and related hearings concerning homeland security;
- Coordinated identification and dissemination to members of information regarding federal, state and local requests for proposals (RFP) related to homeland security procurement;
- Development of position papers reflecting industry positions and concerns that may be shared with federal and local officials;
- Networking among industry representatives.

The Security Industry AssociationFormed in 1969, the Security Industry Association (SIA) provides its members with a full-service, international trade association promoting growth, expansion, and professionalism within the security industry by providing education, research, technical standards, representation, and defense of our member's interests. SIA has over 300 member companies representing manufacturers, distributors, service providers, integrators and others. SIA members are involved in several market segments such as, CCTV, access control, biometrics, computer security, fire/burglar alarms, home automation, just to name a few. Members work together to address issues facing the industry and develop programs to enhance the environment in which they sell products and services

The International Biometric Industry Association is a trade association founded in September 1998 in Washington, D.C. to advance the collective international interests of the biometric industry. IBIA is impartially dedicated to serve all biometric technologies in all applications.
IBIA speaks with authority for the biometric industry to the public opinion leaders, and government officials in the U.S. and abroad. The organization is formally incorporated under Section 501(c)(6) of the U.S. tax code as a nonprofit trade association that is qualified to take collective action on behalf of the biometric industry in compliance with antitrust, tax, and lobbying laws. IBIA is staffed by professional experts in biometrics, trade association management, and the complex disciplines of education and advocacy required by a multinational high-tech industry.
