Fairfax, Va. - July 12, 2010 (Investorideas.com Newswire, www.Homelanddefensestocks.com) ManTech International Corporation (NASDAQ:MANT) (www.mantech.com), a leading provider of technical and engineering services and solutions vital to the nation's interest and security, announced that it was awarded a contract by the U.S. Navy, Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC), Keyport Division. Under the contract, ManTech will provide engineering, programmatic and technical support services for the Surface Ship Radiated Noise Measurement (SSRNM), Fleet Sonar Self Noise (FSSN) and other Navy range acoustic test support programs. The contract has an initial one-year period and four one-year renewal options with a total value of $19.5 million.

ManTech has provided technical expertise to SSRNM and FSSN for more than 30 years, supporting NUWC as the U.S. Navy’s premier research, development, test and evaluation engineering and fleet support center for undersea warfare systems. Under this contract, ManTech will continue to apply its in-depth expertise in acoustic trial preparation and direction, shipboard localization of noise sources, post-trial data reduction and analysis, fleet data submittal analysis and report production.
