Versar, Inc. Wins $1.8 Million Walter Reed Medical Center Contract
SPRINGFIELD, Va.--Jan 6 2009 -Versar, Inc. (NYSE Alternext US: VSR) today announced that it is teaming with Court One Corporation of Norfolk, Va. on a $1.8 million contract to design/build select renovations to Building 17 at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington. D.C.

The project was awarded through the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District and will be completed in one year. All work will be performed in this medical treatment center in close coordination with the occupants and with special care toward preserving the integrity of the facility. Versar has extensive experience working in sensitive military facilities and coordinating all aspects of building systems upgrades and repairs while allowing military activities to continue without disruption.
Court One is a 30 year old Women Owned corporation, DBE, and MBE certified company in Norfolk, Virginia.
